Cicada in a Dream
The ancient Greeks kept cicadas as pets. According to Plato, cicadas were originally men who were so devoted to music that they forgot to look after themselves and died, leaving only their music as proof that they had ever lived. Cicadas remain underground for many years, using an unpredictable breeding cycle to confound their predators. Even though some 98 percent of them die while still underground, trillions of them still manage to emerge on the same evening. Their predators eat many of them, but because they can't eat them all, many survive to create the next generation. Dreaming of a cicada is a sign that your time of "hibernation" is coming to an end. You need to make plans, and get ready to make a strong move forward.
