Distribution: Chinkara are distributed in north-western, central and some parts of southern India.
Habitat: These small to medium sized antelopes are found in the habitats of open scrub forests, ravines, low foothills and hilltops at the edge of open or cultivated ground.
Reproduction: Chinkara are sexually matured at one and a half year. One to two fawns are born at all seasons after a gestation period of five months.
